Cathcart Energy is recruiting for a Wind & Site Analyst on behalf of our client, a well-known international turbine manufacturer, to be based in Uppsala, Sweden.

This is an opportunity to work for a leading company in the Swedish wind sector, and for this role, we are looking for someone with previous experience of working with wind & site analysis, who enjoys working in a role where you get to engage with the client, as well as continue to develop the companys wind & site department.

In this role, you will be working with wind assessment, statistical analysis, layout, flow modelling, site suitability, turbine positioning, production calculation-, evaluation- and optimisation for onshore wind farm projects. Therefore, you need to have knowledge of working with tools such as WasP, WindPRO, Windographer, MATLAB and GIS, as well as have experience of reporting and working in Excel.

Moreover, this role involves a lot of client contact, and therefore you need to enjoy working in a sociable and selling environment. There is also a highly collaborative workplace, and you will be working closely together with your colleagues, both in Uppsala and internationally. There is some travel involved in the role (approximately 2 times per month).

Suitable candidates will have an educational background in engineering (MSc), technical physics, energy systems or atmospheric science, or another applicable field.

This is a full-time role, and the client is looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible. For the right candidate, a competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, as well as the potential to develop and progress within the organisation.

Candidates need to speak English fluently, and ideally Swedish as well. German language skills are considered a bonus. Candidates need to have the right to work in the EU, as VISAs are not sponsored.
