Job Summary
An interesting and challenging role for an Health & Safety (H&S) professional to work within the mobile telecommunications sector. This role would suit a personable and dynamic individual who is an effective communicator with a passion for H&S and for delivering results.
The Role:
To provide site safety auditing, coaching services and desktop reviews as part of a well-established UK team for a major telecoms client.

Job Objectives

Main Responsibilities:

Plan daily activities to meet role requirements.

Visit live telecom construction sites to audit and coach.

Report audit findings within set Service Level Agreements (SLA) on company systems.

Review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Review of Designs.

Effective time and diary management.

Site visits at client's request.

Provide effective Health & Safety advice to our client and their partners.

Skills Required

Represent H&S team in different professional situations.

Ability to work reliably and with confidence in the field.

Ability to write concise and accurate reports for senior management, customers/engineering staff.

Computer literate with an understanding and experience of spreadsheets, databases, MS office.

A good working knowledge of current H&S legislation including Construction Design & Management Regulations 2015 (CDM).

Must have good inter-personal skills.

Ability to efficiently work remotely as part of a UK-wide team.

A self-starter that can drive their own performance and workload.

Flexibility to travel throughout the UK including staying away.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Experience of coaching H&S subject matter.

Full driving license (max 6 points).

A level of fitness allowing for climbing ladders, stairs and hills.

Ensures compliance with client, industry and H&S requirements.
