Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Engineer with extensive experience in automation and control to support projects from our office in Woking. The Regulatory Affairs Engineer will be responsible for ensuring project compliance with Kazakhstan regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and scheduling of endorsement packages aligned with project delivery.
  • Co-ordination and scheduling of certification verification activities aligned with project delivery.
  • Communicating with and ensuring that the project team provide the necessary documentation in accordance with requirements.
  • Preparation of the Regulatory Approval Package which typically covers Certificates of conformity, Measuring devices, Passports, Endorsement.
  • Preparation of Environmental Protection.
  • Provide guidance to projects on regulatory issues.
  • Participation in development of Land Allotment and Land Allocation procedures.
  • Prepares or co-ordinates the specifications and scopes of work.
  • Ensure that the team, works in accordance with all scopes of work, specifications and procedures.
  • Monitor the progress of the documentation and review and validate weekly and monthly reports.
  • Attend and coordinate meetings such as the kick off, progress meetings, clarifications, close out and lesson learned sessions.
  • Ensure follow-up and close out of Queries, Deviations and Non-Compliances and are expedited to support the schedule and successful completion of packages.


Skills / Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification in an engineering subject.
  • Instrumentation and Control background, preferably chartered.
  • Experience of Kazakhstan legislation, customer and Wood Group company standards (HSE, QMS and Technical).
  • Experience in Kazakhstan engineering industry.
  • Experience of Oil and Gas projects.
  • Proficient in English and destination country language (Written and Oral).
