Role synopsis
This position is responsible for supply planning, purchasing and projects management activities in the GSC China Supply Chain. He/she plays a critical role in leading the development and landing of the monthly operational plans for GSC China towards all business partners so as to achieve higher customer service levels, reduced logistics costs, improved portfolio management and efficient use of working capital tied up in inventory.

He/she will lead to deliver performance on "P2P" operation including the NPR sourcing and ensure quality goods and service from GSC 3rd party toll blender in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.

Key accountabilities
• Lead Planning and CP team safely, ensuring Safety standards are set and adhered to across the functional team.
• Lead and facilitate the monthly Supply Review Meeting to ensure that an optimal balance is achieved in terms of manufacturing capacities' utilization, operating costs, service levels and working capital.
• Will be a key and integral member of the Asia Pacific GSC's regional supply planning network; as well as the SPA for the successful implementation of regional/global sourcing and optimization initiatives in China
• Serves as a single point of contact for all the business partners of GSC in the areas of demand forecasts, product introduction and withdrawal, unforeseen demand changes, Annual marketing plans etc.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Lubes SPU's inventory (FG & RM) policy is closely adhered to; with strong focus on policing the slow moving and obsolete inventory to an absolute minimum.
• Lead the CP and TB team to operate in a safe and complaint manner to achieve agree performance targets.
• Support the development and implementation of China Sourcing Strategy to deliver agreed outcomes to meet business supply in 5 year outlook. The plan must involve plants and logistics network.
• Monitor and ensure that all the GSC Planning & CP projects are progressing as planned in terms of benefits and timings.
• Provide Planning &CP support to the GSC team for its various VE projects and ODIMS initiatives
• Ensure the IFOT delivery for Auto and IME business.
• Lead, embed and fulfil agreed Product Quality and Compliance accountability in accordance with the GSC role card and the specific accountabilities that apply to my role.
• Complete agreed GSC actions under the Picasso Project for Chemical Inventory & Product Registration
• Lead the Talent Review for Planning and CP team including the succession plan

Essential Education
University graduate with degree in Business Administration, Statistic or related areas

Essential experience and job requirements
• Minimum 10 years related working experience and 5 years management experience, preferably multiple roles in purchasing, manufacturing planning, material planning, and supply planning or demand planning.
• Sound knowledge/experience on international trade transaction.
• Knowledge on manufacture process and material handling within and outside the manufacture premises.
• Advanced skill of MS office & ERP system operations. Advanced skill of MS office & ERP system operations.
• Good project Management Skills.
• Fluent both in English and Mandarin

-Need to implement a process to review the supply network regularly to ensure they are the optimum to support the business growth
- Need to continue seeking way to improve the efficiency by removing waste in planning & purchasing process using the relevant Continuous Improvement toolkits
- Networking with group counterpart over service level and quality dispute
- Utilize the right resource to support TB to implement the new requirement for efficiency and effectiveness.
