KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies and establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers
  • Develop, champion, and ensure implementation of ideas that will optimize total cost of ownership
  • Works closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs in detail both today and in the future
  • Manage supplier development/relationship to ensure continuity of good and services
  • Develop negotiations strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives
  • Draft, negotiate and obtain agreement to commercial contracts ensuring that operational and commercial risks to business are fully understood and minimized

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent field of study.
  • 7 years' experience in manufacturing / sourcing / procurement for direct and indirect spend.
  • SAP knowledge and experience required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate supply chain / manufacturing planning and management experience.
  • Strong alliance management skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of Supply chain transformation initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in supply chain / manufacturing in the Oilfield Services industry.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification
  • PMP certification
  • APICS CPIM and / or CPSC certification

OTHER DETAILS
  • This position will require up to 50% international travel.
