In this role, the Refurbished B/E Gas Turbine Parts Material Leader will be responsible for management of B/E Class Gas Turbine refurbished parts allocation, inventory optimization, and buyback. Partner with PS Service Operations, Product Line, MYA Refurbished Parts Leader, and Sales teams to offer refurbished part solutions. Provide technical support to Service Centers to restore components to OEM specs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Play active role in forecasting, planning, and inventory management of capital components related to refurbished gas turbine parts
  • Work closely with commercial leaders and Product Line teams to anticipate refurbished part program needs
  • Build inventory through buy back and part modifications
  • Provide technical support in evaluating remaining component life intervals and procuring components for repair, replacement, and/or modification
  • Leverage refurbished parts to maximize MYA productivity through strategic
    and tactical planning across global regions
  • Provide asset availability support to Product Line, PS regions, MYA, and Service Centers
  • Provide detailed data analysis, inventory reports, and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Manage buyback opportunities, purchasing requisitions, repairs, and sales order entry in ERP system
  • Work closely with domestic and international logistics teams on import/export of materials (buying and selling)
  • Minimize slow moving material while optimizing cash, cycle and turns
  • Minimize cycle to identify buyback opportunities, complete buyback transactions, ship/repair/modify, and sell parts
  • Partner with Optimization teams to forecast, plan, and schedule refurbished repairs within the network
  • Assist with gas rotor management activities as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and integrity policies


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 3 years of sourcing, global supply chain, manufacturing, repairs, engineering, or program management experience
