Position Description:
We are currently seeking an Arabic Speechwriter to work in the Public Affairs Department in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
The Arabic Speechwriter works with the Public Relations team to develop Arabic language corporate-level speeches.
Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate you will hold Bachelor degree in journalism, communications, social science, or development-related field.

You should have at least five years of experience writing Arabic language speeches for senior executives, government leaders, or leaders in other fields, and demonstrated ability to communicate complex and technical messages in plain language for audience appeal and impact.

Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent results under pressure and adhering to strict deadlines while also maintaining a sophisticated understanding of organizational and external contexts.
Ability to quickly grasp and apply Saudi Aramco systems and processes, ethics, and values.

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.

Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Ability to write original content and edit written content to be disseminated to the media and the general public through press outlets or other online channels.

Knowledge of analytical tools and methods for undertaking substantive research on various policy related issues.

Ability to engage with other parties and forge productive working relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Lead the drafting of Arabic-language speeches and presentations for executives, consistently ensuring a high level of accuracy and flexibility in creating, writing, and adapting content for a wide variety of audiences.

Undertake original research and solicit input from across the organization as needed on a range of development topics for speeches, presentations, etc.

Analyze complex information, including statistics, financial information, and other numerical, qualitative, and quantitative data to extract key messages for integration into speeches, presentations, and other communications material as required.

Research audience expectations, event agendas and topics, and assist in focusing the purpose of each speech or presentation to tailor messages for specific audience appeal and impact.

Draft/review/edit other substantive written material for the Executive Office as requested, including statements, briefings, op-eds, opinions, articles, talking points, key messages, and other written communications.

Work with senior staff and communications colleagues to incorporate executive-level messaging into their speeches and other communications materials.

Coordinate with the Executive Office and the Communications Group to publish speeches, presentations, and other content on the company's corporate website and also maintain an up-to-date speech archive.

Extract key messages from speeches, presentations, articles, and other communications for dissemination through social media channels in close collaboration with the Communications Group.
