Assists the Program Manager with projects include research and presentations to groups regarding findings. Complies, writes, prepares, and disseminates reports. Tracks project resource and scheduling requirements; document completion of training and sets up Project events; works on multiple programs. May assist in the review of documents and edits for corrections; properly formats local operating instructions and procedures. Must be able to support testing after hours and weekends, along with other assigned duties. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Software Programs. Knowledge of information gathering techniques, procedures, and practices; knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques. Knowledge of analytical methods, procedures, and practices, to include research software.
Requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline, and eight (8) years progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Must have good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required. Must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI)/Security Clearance, as required for the position. Proof of U.S. Citizenship is require; must have a valid CA driver's license.

Sitting at desk 95% of the time. Phone use 10% of the time and PC or Laptop 50%. Filing as required 5%. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. (2%). Extended periods of sitting while on PC/Laptop or phone.

Work inside office environment 90%; outside 10%.

Office equipment; telephone, PC or Laptop, adding machine, fax, and copier.

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory (100%). Must be able to meet established deadlines. Overtime may be required, regular and off days.

Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) skills; able to understand and follow instructions. Ability to collect and analyze complex data. Ability to exercise considerable individual judgment and initiative in conducting the necessary operations within the program. Ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations; ability to coordinate project activies with diverse groups and individuals. Expected to be able to lift 25 lbs safely. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and demonstrate leadership that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
