Job description
1. Location : Dahej
2. Job Purpose : Personnel & Administration
3. Role : Manager - Personnel & Administration
4. Reporting Lines
a. Functionally Reports to : HR Head - Delhi Office
b. Operationally Reports to : Plant Head
c. Directly Supervises : Plant HR Department
d. Key Interactions : Plant head, staff, labour contractors, etc.
5. Profile (Skills, Experience & Qualifications)
a. Must have : Time office, Factory & Labour compliances, IR, PF, Transportation, Canteen, Security, liasoning, Housekeeping, etc. Experience +10 yrs in factory set up. Qualification - PGD-PM & IR / MBA HR.
b. Nice to have : Knowledge of Gujarati language, Working knowledge of EPC industries.
6. Main Accountabilities
T ime office, Factory statutory compliances, labour laws, PF, IR and Admin facilities.
Time -Office - In & Out via biometric, late coming, absenteeism, and gate passes, etc.
Factory Act Compliances - Factory license renewal, Working hours, OT, pre-employment health check-up, arrangement of facilities as per act, medical tie-up with hospitals and other welfare measures, filing of various returns, maintenance of various registers related to FA, liasoning with factory inspector, etc.
Recruitmen t - Arranging for all activities from recruitment till selection, arrangement of contract workmen from manpower agencies.
IR - Works committee, Employee relations, and disciplinary actions as per Industrial dispute act - Warnings, show cause notice, charge sheet, domestic inquiry, representation of company in labour cases, etc.
PF Administration - Filing of monthly returns, administration of company's PF web page, clearing of claims, liasoning with PF authorities.
Contract Labour management - Registration under CLA & its renewal, issuing form 5 to contractors, filing of half-yearly / annual returns, monitoring compliance of labour contractors, checking of monthly labour contractors bills and its payment, ensuring payment of every contract workmen.
Standing orders - Certification of standing orders and its implementation
Labour compliances - Minimum wages, labour welfare fund, filing of related returns and maintenance of law related registers.
Apprentice Act Compliance - Engagement of apprentices as per requirement, filing of various returns.
Employment exchange compliance - Notification of vacancies with EE and filling of various law related returns.
Facilities Administration - Canteen, transport, security, housekeeping, landscaping, and arrangement for various company functions, etc.
