Our Oil & Gas Facilities Sr. Project Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to help our clients provide a safe and reliable source of energy in support of millions of people. Each day, you will be leading teams working on oil & gas projects that include liquid and natural gas transportation and storage systems, pump stations, compressor stations, refining operations, and gas processing facilities. You will integrate resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and quality considerations across the diverse engineering, purchasing, construction, and start-up aspects. You should have 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Facilities, managing all aspects of the project life cycle (feasibility studies through construction), be a self-motivated professional with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new pipeline project. You should also have an industry network and a proven ability to support sales activities.

Our Oil & Gas Facilities Sr. Project Manager:

• Set expectations and drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution.
• Collaborate directly with clients, business development and project teams to provide and develop high quality, leading edge engineering solutions to our clients that differentiate CH2M in the market place.
• Develop effective project execution plans using CH2M's processes and tools. Monitor and report to management on the progress of project activity.
• Promote technical excellence, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.
• Lead holistically, helping our clients meet project requirements (safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality) for the overall project, not just engineering, proportional to CH2M's scope boundaries including risk plans and associated mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Business Development to help develop and leverage client relationships, and identify, position and convert opportunities. Support business planning process.
• Work closely with CH2M leadership to communicate resource gaps that must be filled, and help select candidates.
• Be an effective mentor for staff, from both a technical and business perspective.
• Work effectively without direct supervision, interface with a variety of people and manage competing demands.
• Possess extensive knowledge of diverse oil and gas facilities, including pump stations, compressor stations, field processing (liquid separation, pumps/compressors), gas processing (purification, fractionation), and refining.
• Have an engineering background that includes a mix of office, field, and construction experience; preferably with both consulting and operating companies and with E, EP, EPCM and EPC contract delivery models.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable and effective both up and down within the organization.
• Experience with Stage Gate processes as they are related to engineering and procurement deliverables.
• Provide leadership to and guidance to project controls to right size project reporting based on the type of project and specific client including strong understanding of EVMS, scheduling, and change management.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar from accredited college or university or 20+ years of applicable industry experience
• 15 years engineering experience and 10 years in as a project manager.
• 10 years of experience in oil & gas facilities.
• Ability to travel (1-2 trips/month)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
• PE Registration and PMP certification
• Business Development experience
