The Total Productive Maintenance Tech (TPM) located within the continental United States. In this role, the incumbent will perform quality control inspections at Wind Farms where maintenance scope is in place and at Projects sites where wind turbine generators are being installed. They will ensure that all the maintenance and repair work is being performed to GE standards. They will also audit site adherence to documented procedures which govern how a site is to perform certain operations.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Total Productive Maintenance Technician you will:

  • Provide leadership to drive the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiative in Wind Field Operations - Americas. Assure program is implemented to achieve the highest standard of quality and consistency across the Americas Pole.
  • Assure the correct implementation of the TPM activities through Audits, Training, and Action Workouts.
  • Work closely with other GE Wind Organizations (PS&W, PSE, Training, etc) in the course of the program. Provide feedback to engineering with regard to best practices.
  • Provide periodic review of the maintenance manual requirements and maintenance checklist used to maintain GE Wind turbines. Assure maintenance checklist complies with the manual.
  • Review WDI from engineering relative to maintenance activities. Incorporate into maintenance checklist and assure. Provide appropriate feedback.
  • Assist with maintenance vendor training and qualification
  • Follow up technical cases of field issues in order to support Maintenance Service activities in the Americas Pole.
  • Develop the WFO USA business processes, train the FE in those processes, ISO implementation-... in order to assure the quality standards in our WFO organization.
  • Extensive travel (70%) required

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • High School Diploma / GED

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability and willingness to travel to remote sites 70% of the time
