Tasks:
Managing the Marketing & Sales department will provide you with many opportunities and interesting challenges on both a local and global level. One of them will be to maintain our market shares and ensure that our competitive level remains high. Another crucial task will be to observe relevant markets based on analyses and evaluations of market potentials

As manager of the sales team you will coach and develop the sales engineers as well as lead the business development on the markets. One of your main challenges will be to strengthen the cooperation between our sales team in Ludvika and the local sales organizations located abroad, which usually have the initial customer contact before handover to our team. You will reinforce our proactive sales and have a central role in the development of marketing plans. This will also include increasing our customer understanding internally and strengthening relations with existing and potential customers and our font end sales organization.

The Marketing & Sales department has 25 sales engineers and 3 managers per region, each with responsibility for managing their own market segment and customers. This could, among other things, include customer visits, product seminars, exhibitions and negotiations. The sales engineers are responsible for the tender process from received request for tender until handover of the order to the project manager. This managerial role will provide you the overall responsibility of the Order Intake for the unit and drive growth initiative on the market.

Requirements:
You have several years of management and sales experience in combination with technical background. You preferably hold a Master's degree in Engineering combined with a broad commercial competence and large experience from marketing and sales. This is supplemented with business acumen and industry experience as well as proficiency in Swedish and English. Additional language skills are positive. On a personal level, you are customer focused and result oriented. To succeed you also need a genuine interest in our products and how they can benefit our customer's business.
