Senior Architect/Permitting Lead, Singapore
  1. Reporting Channels
Head of Department – Civil & Structural
  1. Responsibilities
a) Management of Permitting Activities (estimated 50% of total time)
Ø Provide advice on Singapore permitting processes across all stages of the project (i.e. Planning, DC, BP, TOP, CSC)
Ø Lead authority pre-consultation sessions
Ø Review and direct changes on documents for compliance with authority regulations prior to authority submissions
Ø Ensure that permitting forms, check lists, authority guidelines and general information are maintained and updated.
Ø Liaise with project team members and customers on permitting matters
Ø Manage technical officers in permitting team
b) Architectural Design and Documentation (estimate 40% total time)
Ø Develop architectural concepts and define key design parameters for a range of infrastructure and industrial architectural projects (including transport projects, power, oil & gas).
Ø Ensure consistency and quality in the development of design solutions and project architectural specifications.
Ø Coordinate architectural designs with other disciplines and customers
Ø Quality Assurance – Working within the provisions and guidelines of the WorleyParsons Project Management Process (WPMP), ensure projects are delivered according to the PEP, Basis of design and Quality Assurance systems.
Ø Maintain and oversee development of guidance notes, go-bys and reference drawing sets.
c) Proposal Preparation (estimate 10% of total time)
Ø Support preparation of proposals involving architectural and permitting content by defining methodologies and approach, providing manhour and deliverable estimates and defining suitable project organisation structure and resources.
