I am currently working on behalf of a leading International Turbine Services Company, who are looking for a Validation Engineer to work on a permanent basis and join their Engineering Department in the UAE.


Role

Responsible for the testing of systems in order to establish a Master Quality Control Plan (MCQP) to enhance the Gas Turbine component repair and ensure process control of repair and inspection process runs smoothly.

Responsibilities 
  • Develop MCQP and analysis and calibration of the equipment for the refurbishment of Gas Turbine components.
  • Maintain the control of repair by means of validation tests and process sampling methods.
  • Review metallurgy reports and advise over reparability and heat treatment rejuvenation of Gas Turbine components.
  • Work closely with the CMM in order to programme the internal calibration of the repairs
Tasks 
  • Resolve any deviations from established product or process standards.
  • Manage any required changes to documentation and ensure that they are carried out to company procedure and standards.
  • Work closely with management to determine validation objectives and standards, by closely studying customer requirements and product characteristics.
  • Assist in training of other staff on validation protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate the implementation or scheduling of validation testing with affected departments and personnel.
  • Conduct audits of validation or performance qualification processes to ensure compliance with internal or regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards.
Requirements 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in validation methods – in similar industry
  • Must have in-depth experience using a CMM (Coordination Management Machine)
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within Metallurgy
  • A minimum of a Bachelors Engineering Degree (mechanical or material)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
