PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Perform general analysis and prepare reports to support energy efficiency programs as part of an ICC approved energy efficiency portfolio to ensure cost recovery and minimize performance risk. Conduct modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and other general financial and operational analysis. The position requires interfacing with other Energy Efficiency and ComEd departments such as marketing, planning, accounting, etc.. Monitoring, tracking, and providing necessary program performance data for measurement and verification purposes is also important.
Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop and organize performance reports for both internal and external use.

Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Under general oversight, support energy efficiency program managers and contractors with budgeting, forecasting, and accrual processes to ensure energy savings are delivered as per forecast and budget

Leverage data within the Energy Efficiency CRM and project tracking database to provide insights on driving greater participation in programs, identifying untapped customer segments, and improvements in forecasting accuracy, and other programmatic improvements

Monitor and track performance metrics applicable to each program. Update program status reports to accurately monitor progress toward program performance and financial goals. Emphasis will be on achieving overall goals, sharing lessons learned with other program offerings, and coordinating internal/external stakeholder requests.

Supports and reviews processes involving data transfers between ComEd and Contractors to assure data security, integrity, and accuracy as related to program participation; emphasis will be on analyzing and evaluation of energy efficiency measures

Provide any necessary training and support on financial acumen, forecasting, and accrual processes as required for Energy Efficiency Program Managers, and or contractor teams

Qualifications:
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering and/or business) or equivalent related experience and 2 - 5 years experience relevant energy conservation/energy efficiency work experience, primarily in project management and technology assessment, performance management, measurement and evaluation, and knowledge of marketing communications. OR in lieu of a bachelor's degree, 6 - 9 years of stated relevant experience

Ability to multi-task across various types of projects and deliver a quality work product within the required timeframe.


Preferred:

Strong background in Energy Efficiency and vendor management including: invoice management, forecasting, accruals, RFP processing, and QA/QC.

Strong ability to analyze data and workflows, develop alternative approaches, and work cross-functionally to deliver process improvement solutions

Experience managing complex and time sensitive requests from key stakeholders and vendors.

Proven high skill level coordinating and organizing documents supporting numerous energy efficiency programs.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business

Proficient computer skills - Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Outlook, SharePoint, SQL, Tableau

Above average analytical skills

Above average project management skills

POSITION SCOPE
Under general oversight, this position is responsible for:

• Providing budgeting, forecasting, and accruals support to the Energy Efficiency Manager
• Leverage use of data analytics in driving increased participation in energy efficiency programs
• Driving continuous improvement in various energy efficiency programs and processes
• Respond to and manage internal customer requests for information, reporting, and other support
• Building up to work independently, making day-to-day decisions, and managing an energy efficiency program
