Key Responsibilities
 
In this role you will be responsible for setting the direction for the B2M Strategic Solutions digital customer experience including embedding new tools, MI monitoring, governance and oversight of all project delivery.
 
You will be given the opportunity to develop new B2M digital propositions led by customer insight as well as digitalising existing B2M product portfolio whilst keeping the alignment of the online and offline strategy.
 
Communication is key in this role - you will develop and maintain strong relationships with CMO and Group digital colleagues in order to drive digital awareness and coaching within the organisation, with a need to make sure that the digital experience is at the forefront of all key business decisions across the business to protect the brand and customer experience.
 
You will be an essential part in the creation of test and learn fast failing product launches, to determine concept and commercial feasibility of new technology trends and applications to ultimately drive customer engagement across digital channels.

Qualifications
Key Skills:
  • Role holder must possess a passion for innovation, big-picture vision, and a combination of marketing, commercial and technical skills to bring customer centric concepts to reality
  • A strong understanding of web methodology and managing a site will be essential in this role
  • Experience of working within an e-commerce commercial environment is a must
  • Successful candidate will possess solid leadership skills and have the ability to maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organisation
  • Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of online customer experience, seasoned marketer with experience across web and mobile, and content management systems and technology release processes
  • Candidate must be adaptable to change, learn quickly and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Must be conversant with all web content technologies and emerging trends, and able to articulate and explain these clearly with benefits and opportunities in plain English to key stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in managing digital agencies, from budget to briefing and through to execution
  • A thorough understanding and measuring of customer needs, drivers and issues and how online content needs to engage customers in a socially networked world
  • Excellent communication skills - able to articulate ideas in a compelling and confident way that instills in trust and buy-in with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage projects and virtual teams across multi-disciplined areas - from technical, to propositions, to marketing and agencies in order to drive change
  • Ability to innovate and think creatively as well as spot new opportunities for innovation and capitalise on these
