The principal function of this role is to undertake the role of Project Manager/ senior ports/ coastal Engineer / on ports/coastal maritime engineering projects. Lead the delivery of projects in client facing role. Exhibiting strong technical skills and team participation to support projects delivery toward successful completion.

The key responsibilities  in this role will include but not be limited to:
Leading the delivery of projects handled by the Mumbai office for external and internal clientsoCoordinating with other offices of CH2M for shared work. Frequent travel within and outside India will be required.
Develop, document and improve best practices for work being delivered from Mumbai office.
Working with internal and external clients to define engineering requirements
Leading maritime/civil/coastal engineering design projects
Planning and scheduling of project deliverables to meet project schedule 
Reviewing and approving design calculations, drawings and specifications
Technical report writing, and review 
Managing / leading Construction quantities and cost estimates
Managing / leading specifications preparation 
Workload management of the Maritime Structures team in Mumbai
Identification and implementation of training needs of the team

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
Relevant degree in Coastal, Civil, Marine or Ocean Engineering
Minimum 15 years' experience after graduation in maritime/ heavy civil engineering or related fields, preferably in coastal engineering
Have a good understanding of site related services  
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate most of the following technical experience:
Project management skills in client facing role 
Lead the delivery of project, or packages within a large project
Technical Maritime/Civil/Coastal engineering knowledge
Design and/or construction experience of jetties, quay walls, and other maritime structures, and coastal engineering works like . breakwaters, rock groynes, dredging and reclamation. Coastal engineering experience is preferable.
Performing engineering calculations, preparing design drawings
Have good understanding of ports and harbours working requirements 
Familiar with Indian and international codes of practice 
Good knowledge of planning for marine works during design and construction stages
