BWP are representing a leading EPC and technology provider who are building a significant Energy from Waste plant in the North of England with both Anaerobic Digestion and Incineration technologies. 

The plant will provide electricity for some 40k homes in the region and treat over 300,000 tonnes of waste per year. 

The construction of the plant is entering the commissioning phase in Q1 2017 and will be fully operational by 2018. 

As part of the commissioning team we are looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to join and lead the commissioning of the plant across the various systems, boiler, mechanical, water steam cycle, electrical and controls. 

Daily tasks will include but not limited to:

Participate in the preparation of manuals and test documentation for the commissioning of the plant
Development of new test concepts and test procedures
Contribute to quality control of the plant through dialogue and review
Focus strongly on health and safety during the commissioning phase 

Profile requirements:

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree 

Experience in the commissioning of waste to energy, AD, Incineration plants 

Knowledge of the various systems within process plant

Communication, leadership and organisation skills. 

The position will be on a temp contract for the commissioning phase 6 - 12 months
