Job Overview:

The Manager, Organizational Capability is responsible for the development and global implementation of company-wide talent management solutions, including competencies, assessment processes, and professional development initiatives. Consults with Human Resource and Organizational Development business partners regarding the evaluation and development of talent within their respective business units. This position will report to the Director of Leadership and Talent.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Develop and manage company-wide global competency model that informs recruitment, professional development and career pathing.
  • Create and lead progressive initiatives for the development of talent across the organization, ensuring a variety of development and leadership programs are in place.
  • Incorporate competencies and development initiatives into the performance management process.
  • Manage the strategic talent inventory, consulting with human resource and business partners, to strengthen the organization's talent pipeline
  • Oversee succession planning process.
  • Identify and implement metrics related to progress and success of talent programs and initiates to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Provide expertise related to knowledge transfer management.
  • Facilitate trainings and develop courses as needed.
  • Provide guidance, consulting and learning development expertise throughout the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational psychology, Human Resources, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 8+ years progressive experience in organizational development and talent management in fast-paced, matrixed environments. Experience working with/applying best practice as a foundation to building training and development strategies.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep experience in talent management, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Strong consultative skills with ability to identify needs across the business and build solutions.
  • Experience with multiple assessment tools (Korn-Ferry, Birkman, CCL, Hogan etc.)
  • Familiar with talent management metrics and people analytics.
  • Knowledgeable of current trends and best practices in talent management.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, collaboration, and negotiation skills; strong conflict management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and be a model of tact and discretion required of a trusted advisor and consultative business partner.
  • Process oriented with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, allocate and optimize resources, and manage timelines; able to take things from start to finish.
  • Results driven and able to build consensus by understanding the concerns and needs of others and how to realistically manage expectations.
  • Ability to be a change agent to drive a major cultural change.
  • Ability to lead the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet program goals.
