The Strategic Planning Manager performs strategic forecasting on APAC / China market situation. And plans accordingly to Onsite Service (OSS) capacity and capability. In this capacity, you would develop and implement winning strategies to achieve maximized growth and optimized productivity. You would be required to connect actively with global optimization/forecasting team and regional team. This role reports to Region Director - OSS Asia and dotted to Global OSS Optimization Leader.

Essential Responsibilities

• Optimization
Collaborate with Global OSS Optimization Team and Region Operation Managers to optimize resource allocation for effective outage execution. Look into demand placement by region and ensure quick turnaround. Devise dashboards to monitor demand placement turnaround performance. Look into third party resource by collaborating with Regional Sourcing Team.

• Forecasting
Perform deep dive into S &OP / S2 data. Validate, crunch data and present analysis. Advise strategies for maximized growth. Support Region P&L dashboard.

• Capacity Planning
Perform regional pacing on work-in-progress jobs to ensure on-time execution. Devise dashboards to monitor opportunity pipeline, opportunity conversion. Work with each segment operation manager to develop capacity plan for all segments.

• Productivity
Drive productivity projects in each segment and target to lower first-in-first-out (FIFO) rates with cost reduction strategies. Consolidate P&E requirements and monitor Bullet Train expenses.

• Capability NPI
Collaborate with Global OSS New Product Initiative (NPI) Leader and Region OSS Operation Managers to ensure technical knowledge transfer for each segment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business / Finance / Engineering or relevant Degree from an accredited college or university
• Perform Black Belt role in an operation or service environment would be an added advantage
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in operation, service, business development, financial planning or equivalent strategic planning role
• Senior position (SPB) could be considered, based on relevant experience
