Job Description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
  • Communication at all levels with staff, customers, visitors and suppliers
  • Welcome customers/visitors/guests/staff/suppliers
  • Control and maintain reception area to highest standards
  • Advise management on continuous feasible improvements to reception area and other related issues
  • Inform security/management when there is a problem
  • Visitor/Staff access control
  • Monthly updating and distribution of telephone user guides and lists
  • Switchboard duties
  • Receive invoices and record in invoice book and on MS Excel
  • Coordinate courier services and ensure that all packages/ parcels goes out to correct addresses
  • Coordinate all bookings for meeting and training rooms
  • Assist with travelling bookings as per request by your manager


Profile sought
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum Educational Requirement - Matric/Senior Certificate plus Diploma in Public Relations
  • Computer literate - MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Minimum 1 year Corporate reception experience
  • Problem solving abilities with analytical, proactive and creative thinking
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in Professional Imaging - Dress code, etiquette etc.
  • Knowledge in Customer Service
  • Knowledge in Public Relations
  • Excellent complaint handling skills
  • Coping skills for high volume/traffic of people at any given time (front desk & Telephone)
