Role synopsis
The role is key in providing the continuous operation of a business critical MI system: SAP BPC for Financial Management Information. The main role will be to provide support in the technical resolution of issues and ensuring a timely close management process.

Key accountabilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of systems administration for SAP BPC
  • Creation and maintenance of BPC hierarchies and dimensions
  • Creation and maintenance of data manager packages
  • Delivery of enhancements and improvements to the SAP BPC platform
  • To manage SAP BPC during month end close and MI process for Lubricants globally
  • To ensure data integrity by performing spot checks on data feed, report and actively manage discrepancies
  • To provide assistance and explanation to queries. Liaise with 3rd party service providers, and Business Intelligence (BI) team to resolve technical issues
  • To create, amend and manage Member Access Profiles in SAP BPC
  • To maintain Audit Logging using Web Administration and monitor SAP BPC Admin Tasks
  • To modify Input Templates in line with structure or process changes
  • To assist in the internal Rolling Forecast and Planning processes from a technical perspective
  • To gather information and insights via building effective relationships with the business partners and other key GBS contributors
  • Be the lead in coordinating change impacting users related to SAP BPC system
  • To maintain SAP BPC Super user network, ensure agenda covers developments and best practice sharing for effective knowledge and resource utilization across the geographic region
  • To support system and process improvement with identification and implementation of ideas, provide support to project management and implementation
  • Operate effective back up structure for the role
  • To document processes and maintain documentation, adhere with the tasks outlined in the EMS/QMS Systems of GBS Europe


Essential Education
  • Relevant degree


Essential experience and job requirements
  • Understanding of and experience with performance management system operation (i.e. SAP BPC, FBW etc.) and MI processes (Actuals, GFO, Plan)
  • Fluency in English
  • Power user level knowledge of SAP BPC 7.5 (creation of complex reports and input templates using EVDRE functions)
  • Systems Administration of a SAP BPC 10.1 (Netweaver) environment
  • 2 years of experience in the operation and managing change preferably in performance management, management information and reporting system infrastructures
  • Structured thinking, skilled at investigating data, processes to ensure consistency, propose actions and improvements to system and processes
  • Good at spreadsheets, communication and presentation skills
