  • Identify and documents transportation problems using databases and standard analysis procedures such as crash frequencies and capacity analyses
  • Identify and illustrate conceptual descriptions of transportation improvements alternatives
  • Conduct concept level evaluation and studies of transportation improvements options
  • Conduct studies on measures of effectiveness for transportation projects and illustrates same on various thematic maps
  • Document and present finding on transportation planning projects for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
  • Researches current transportation related topics at local, State, and Federal levels.
  • Researches project options and documents findings
  • Assists with other duties assigned by senior staff and/or Project Managers.


  • Pursuing Bachelor Degree with an emphasis in transportation or closely related filed is required
  • Masters Degree track is preferred
  • Experience with GIS (ESRI) is preferred
