In this role the Reliability Maintenance Technician will be responsible for aspects of Maintenance Department processes including parts analysis, documentation, project work, training, and system integration at the Minnetonka Site. The focus will be to provide programs and projects to improve asset reliability, reduce maintenance costs and foster continuous improvements.

Essential Responsibilities

This will include identifying critical spare parts, ensuring we have system in place to maintain them in inventory, and working with vendors on vendor managed inventory.

As the Reliability Maintenance Technician, you will:
  • Identify and implement programs to ensure that critical spare parts are in stock when needed, and work with various vendors on how to implement JIT inventory programs
  • Become project leader for implementing systems and inventory tracking processes
  • Develop and revise meaningful routine preventive and predictive maintenance procedures and frequencies based on manufacturer recommendations and failure mode analysis of equipment
  • Train Maintenance Crafts on procedures
  • Optimize inventories to ensure critical parts are in stock, integrated with CMMMS system and procurement systems to ensure that they are in stock on a regular basis
  • Develop Equipment Bill of Materials
  • Develop Critical Spare Part Inventories
  • Manage Equipment Asset Identification
  • Observe and follows all safety procedures
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment and champions safety awareness.
  • Keep own and adjacent work areas clean
  • Perform related and incidental work assignments as required
  • Expected to spend time on both operations floor (troubleshooting issues and preventive maintenance activities) and on project work / data analysis


Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance reliability role ( OR Vocational certification)
