Senior Business Development Manager

A leading engineering innovation specialist offering design and development solutions across the product development value chain for various industries including transportation, industrial products and the process industry.

Services include mechanical engineering, embedded systems, engineering process services, product lifecycle management, proprietary solutions in engineering data analytics and power electronics.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying high-value business opportunities
  • Account expansion with existing customers of Telecom & Hitech, Industrial Products and Transportation Domain.
  • Understands current business environment to identify business opportunities
  • Articulate our capabilities in the engineering services.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets as well as customer satisfaction goals mutually agreed upon and meet company objectives.
  • Closes deals through a balanced negotiation on sizing, costing and pricing.
  • Explores opportunities to cross / up sell as appropriate.
  • Networks with product companies to further develop or design tools for their customers.
  • Builds relationships with the alliance partners to identify market opportunities.
  • Good understanding of the local industry vertical regulations, market drivers and practices, especially in Telecom.
  • Reports to Country Head.

Skills and Experience:

  • Must have experience working in the automotive industry.
  • Electronics, Embedded technology, Industrial Products and Telecom experience is a plus.
  • Proven history of new account sales achievement.
  • Ideally will have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of the Swedish / Scandinavian market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – additional language skills is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision whilst being a team player.
