Our client, an energy infrastructure company, is looking for a JCost Modeling SME r to work in Houston, TX.
  • Advanced mathematical and analytical acumen
  • Strong analytical skill and cost modeling experience
  • Capability to debug and run Excel Macro's
  • Strong capability for data analysis (Statistical Analysis, Spend Analysis, Trending etc.) and plotting
  • Advance capability for Microsoft Office Tools
  • Solid understanding of strategic sourcing processes including but not limited to total cost of ownership principles, category management and supplier qualification methodology
  • Experience with Ariba and SAP
  • Strategic sourcing capability using Ariba and conventional tools (Excel, Email, Phone)
  • Superior negotiation and communication skills
  • Advance listening and note taking skills
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation and project management skills
  • Maintaining contract databases
  • Contract management with Ariba
  • Maintaining supplier information supporting Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program
  • Oil & Gas rotating and reciprocating compression equipment (Centrifugal Compressors, Gas Turbines, Gas Coolers, Inlet Filters, Exhaust Emissions Reduction Technologies (NOx, CO, SO2 etc.) familiarity
  • With supervision generating first level strategy documents on sourcing initiatives
  • Completing internal SSI forms and managing all aspects of contract extensions via amendments
  • Able to take meeting minutes and publish documents post meetings
  • Setting up and facilitating telecom and WebEx meetings and F2F meetings or in combination
  • Advanced telecom (non F2F) communication skills
  • Communication and consensus building skills with stakeholders
  • Able to deal with multiple deadlines and competing demands
