The Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling products and systems to assigned customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships (from commercial to administrative functions) to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale. Prepares sales plans using company tools. Ensures efficient marketing communication to assigned customers (both current and prospects) and communicates the value proposition of the ABB offer. Contributes to the development of new market opportunities in the designated territory. Position could also be located in Tarragona.

Tasks:
-Serves as ABB's principal point of customer contact and establishes, builds, and maintains long-term customer relationships to improve the ABB opportunities for sales and profits.
-Recognizes customers needs and matchs these with ABB portfolio of products & solutions.
-Develops market account plans and maintains periodic reports on market data pertaining to forecast, order backlogs, and other relevant market information.
-Implements account plans with frequent visits to customer for face to face meetings.
-Generates a sustainable pipeline of opportunities and proposals in order to achieve the targeted sales order booking within defined margins in the area of responsibility.
-Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on automation products&solutions with attention on advanced solutions.

Requirements:
-Degree in Engineering.
-Knowledege of any of the following areas Scada, PLC, DCS, Programming, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Instrumentation.
-Fluent in English and Spanish.
-At least one year experience in technical sales. Experience selling in the Pharma, Food&Beverages and Channel Partner markets.
-Customer focused, results orientation and communication skills.
-Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
