Are you a student or fresh graduate in business, finance or engineering in the Zurich area? Are you interested in an internship with one of the world-leading power and automation companies, with focus on the Risk Management and Project Operations Implementation functions? If yes, we have a great opportunity for you. In this role, you will have the chance to support our Power Grids division in planning, delivery and reporting of various implementation activities. We offer a 6 months' internship (January-June 2017) at ABB's global headquarters in Zurich-Oerlikon.

Tasks:
REPORTING AND ANALYTICS
Act as single point of contact for all regular and ad-hoc reporting requests related to Risk Management, Project Review Improvement and Project Controlling

Analyze and Report on a regular basis various metrics related to project review improvement, risk reviews and project execution

IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
Support with the planning, scheduling and preparation of workshops/meetings in next wave countries: establish meeting routine (time, place, agenda), prepare participation lists, adapt existing workshop materials to individual countries, prepare invitations, prep calls etc

Support in preparing reports and presentations for Steering Committee meetings. Follow up on actions arising out of these meetings

COMMUNICATION
Own the Step Change SharePoint portals within the PG division and act as point of contact for queries related to the portal. Ensure that the portal content is updated on a regular basis

Support in regular communication e.g. newsletters, emails to stakeholders, ABB inside news etc.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING SUPPORT
Support in further developing functional content, such as excel tools and templates

Support in preparing training material such as training videos and e-learnings based on existing slide package and in developing "train the trainer" packages

Requirements:
- Ongoing/recently completed Bachelor's studies in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related major

- Excellent MS Office skills

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex datasets

- Proactive approach to problem solving

- Quality-driven, dedicated attitude

- Proficiency in English, both oral and written. Further languages are an asset

- Prior work experience in a Project Management Office is preferred

- Living in the Zurich area or ability to commute to Zurich on a daily basis for the duration of the internship
