Responsibilities
  • The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for assisting the project managers to create, review and implement a detailed commissioning plan that covers the major items of equipment on site such as;
    • Energy Centres (i.e. Biomass Boilers, CHP Engines and Associated Pipework)
    • Underground Heat Network
    • Heat Interface Units (based in  customer homes)
  • This will involve travel to each of the district heating sites and working with key stakeholders such as the project delivery managers and design team to assess the sites against current E.ON Commissioning standards.
  • The Role will also involve the support of roll out a new commissioning process both for the overall sites and the Heat Interface Units.

  • Willingness to learn and travel across sites (UK)
  • Competence in MS Word, Excel & Power Point
 
Desirable
  • Electrical, Mechanical or Control and Instrumentation plant experience
  • Projects or modules related to district heating
 
Additional Information
The programme has a duration of 48 weeks.
The role is located at either Nottingham (Waterfront House) or Coventry (Westwood business park).
Due to the nature of this role a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check maybe required.
