Role synopsis
Within BP Lubricants there is a need to consolidate and improve underlying process performance as the business moves forward with implementing the WILG Strategy.
There are 5 key pillars underpinning the WILG Strategy. Two of these are defined as:
  • Cost discipline and efficiency
  • Simple, effective performance driven organisation.
This means radically changing the way work gets done. BP Lubricants have set up the NIKE Programme to provide a design authority for standard processes and data across Lubricants and deploy a single instance of SAP across the main Lubes markets in Europe. This will provide hardwired process standardisation and enhanced systems capability, enabling Lubricants to drive cost efficiency, enable regionalised process management and improve cross border planning & execution leading to improved overall customer service. The backbone of this IT solution will be based on SAP technology.
This has resulted in the need to focus on Management Information processes as a key enabler for driving the business strategy forward and the need for a SAP BW Analyst to ensure that the analytical content of the BW system is effectively managed and end users are well supported.

  • Ensure all reports comply with Data Privacy and Data Security rules.
  • Perform BW testing and integration activities as SAP is deployed into new countries.
  • Where possible work with other teams to ensure alignment / consistency between standard reports produced from BW and equivalent reports produced from other ERP platforms, notably Keris (JDE).
  • Contribute towards advancing analytical, self-service/ad hoc reporting capabilities across the Lubricants business using existing or future toolsets.
