The Project Manager - SFDC will lead project teams from project planning through execution, including managing the day-to-day design and implementation of SFDC solutions. This candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing client relationships. The PM will effectively identify and solve project-related problems that are technical, business, and resource specific. Essential Responsibilities



In addition you will:
  • Ensure that CTQ's are gathered accurately, converted into clearly defined requirements and signoff is gathered from key stake holders with respect for enhancements / new functionality
  • Develop high quality training content that meets unique regional needs
  • Work across a large group of stakeholders including functional users from each region (Sales & Commercial), other Power P&Ls, the Power SFDC COE, IT, Engineering, Marketing and 3rd party vendors
  • Construct a vision for executing on key commercial projects which include a heavy project management focus complete with owners, deliverables and timelines
  • Partner with IT at both the Power Services & Power IT level to construct development plans, execute testing and ensure timely roll-outs
  • Manage successful project launches by coordinating POC sessions with regional functional users (Sales & Commercial), Testing (SIT/UAT) and Training
  • Work across functional and IT teams to evaluate external vendors for potential use cases and ensure adequate testing & cost / benefit is performed to ensure adequacy
  • Ensure strong adoption through clear communications, adoption metrics tracking and feedback loops
  • Drive quick resolution of open bugs and issues and secure signoff from testers & stakeholders
  • Maintain a consistent focus on the user and enhancing their everyday experience with all projects



Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Commercial Tools / Platforms, Sales, Commercial Operations or product line or IT project management

Desired Characteristics

  • Highly motivated with ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project / program management training
  • Ability to work successfully with a highly matrixed organization, supporting multiple stakeholders and driving team success
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including at the executive level
  • Ability to convert feedback / stakeholder impact into actions & deliver those solutions
  • Effective project management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to navigate through challenging or conflicting situations and maintain productivity
  • Sales / Commercial experience in a GE or similar company is preferred ... particularly the Power Services industry
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Cultural sensitivity / global experience
