Manages the human and organizational aspects of service delivery processes and their transformation, along with driving the use of improved business process management (BPM) & technology, with the aim of creating a process-managed organization to better deliver business & customer outcomes. The position's main duties are to gain consensus on new process concepts and build coalitions to move process improvement and indeed transformation and innovation forward.

Essential Responsibilities

The BP director must mature process competencies to help drive the enterprise to achieve and sustain business outcomes. This includes presenting a vision to the broader organization of the BPM benefits and challenges, and identifying business performance and incentive metrics, to ensure continuous, sustained, organization wide business operations improvement, transformational change, and valued business outcomes. The role requires strong partnership and interaction with relevant P&Ls & Regional CIOs, Project teams and shared services teams as well as with functional business leadership teams primarily with Marketing, Commercial, Product line and Engineering teams.
In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in defining features backlog and specifying requirements
  • Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architecture
  • Outline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes
  • Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program
  • Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timeline
  • Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams.
  • Manage procurement and onboarding process
  • Coordinate execution across multiple projects and drive shared approach and outcomes tracking
  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
  • Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives
  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected
  • Perform initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget tracking






Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or considerable years of IT technical experience
  • Significant years of IT professional experience
  • Considerable years professional experience in Software Development Project Management including project and financial management leading cross functional initiatives and/or large global projects
  • Considerable years experience in IT project leadership and change management experience
  • Demonstrated years experience in IT or related Operations management and change management experience
  • Significant years of managerial experience in business planning, resource allocation or the project management of implementing information technologies
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical field from an accredited college or university; MBA
  • Agile certified
  • Familiarity with CI / CD philosophy, processes, and tools
  • Established project management and organizational abilities
  • Understanding of the software change management processes incorporating multiple releases and business teams
  • Working understanding of Predix architecture, roadmap, and strategy
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
