JDR Energy are currently supporting an EPC Power upgrade project based in the Middle East, candidates will need to follow all construction activities in connection with the execution and commissioning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- To coordinate the activities of the Instrumental assistants, loop check coordinators and control specialists
- Review the Pre-Commissioning and commissioning procedures for all installations under his responsibilities.
- Report and update on the progress of all activities
- To field check the ACS and preparer relevant Commissoining punch list, following commissioning engineer instructions
- To develop new or review the existing inspection forms for the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities pertaining to instrumentation activities
- To coordinate with other disciplines like process, machinery, electrical for the smooth completion of activities 
- Monitor any changes for upgrades that affect the controls systems and ensure all safety rules are in force and are followed in field
- Evaluation of training and competency processes that are affiliated with process and safety control systems applying knowledge and application of all regulatory standards
- To Develop testing procedures and policies that are aligned with commissioning best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure safety, operability and compliance.

Requirements:

- Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years previous experience
- English / Arabic speaking
- Functional knowledge of PLC / DCS Sytsems
- Previous experience in EPC Projects
