We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer within the I&C Completion team Westinghouse.  This position will be responsible to perform technical, administrative and project activities to support successful completion of the I&C implementation for cyber security onsite through installation, testing, and startup. 

 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Interfacing with the Westinghouse Cyber Security Implementation Project Technical Governance Lead, Cyber Security Program Manager Site Integration and site cyber security engineers.
  • Selecting tamper evidence materials and devices; recommending tamper seal installation locations; procuring and coordinating application of tamper evidence devices and the use of hardware port blocks for USB, serial or Ethernet interfaces.
  • Investigating any unauthorized breach of tamper evident seals for potential cyber-attack.
  • Reviewing applicable cyber security updates to site procedures.
  • Recording potential issues and supporting resolution of issues using the Non-Conformance and Disposition Report (N&D) and/or the Westinghouse CAPAL system. 
  • Cataloging configuration of assets prior to, and following, construction activities. Generating and maintaining the asset Log Sheets.
  • Performing periodic audits.
  • Providing guidance on cyber security access levels for portable media usage.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or recognized equivalent required.
  • General knowledge of and previous work exposure to cyber security. 
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with teams of multiple functional groups.
  • Ability to develop and maintain critical working relationships with Westinghouse, Fluor, WECTEC and Owner personnel.
  • Knowledge of AP1000 plant preferred and I&C  systems.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain unescorted access to nuclear power plants is required.
