Position Description
We are seeking a Compensation Specialist to work in the Compensation Division of the HR Policy & Planning Department. The Compensation Specialist consults with and advises Corporate Management on Corporate Compensation policies.

Minimum Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and/or Business and Management. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.

Experience
Minimum 11 years of HR experience within the oil and gas industry and/or Consulting industry with five years of global compensation program experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and guide the development, implementation, communication and administration of global compensation programs for all employees.

Conduct comprehensive studies, surveys and research, develops completed policy proposals, including comparative costs; make presentations to all levels of management.

Manage annual salary planning process and support the incentive compensation review process.

Coordinate and lead the design, improvement, implementation and quality measurement of compensation programs.

Work with managers in the administration of salary adjustments and review changes in wages and salaries.

Manage and participate in salary and market surveys to determine market pay rates, salary structures and merit budgets.

Create and update salary structures for both domestic and international employees.

Provide training to early career professionals.
