Position Description:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Risk Oversight & Compliance Division (ROCD) of the Financial Risk Management Department.

The ROCD is responsible for providing oversight of financial risk management at the corporate and subsidiary level, as well as advising on risk and mitigating strategies.

The primary role of the Financial Analyst is to identify, measure, and report on current and emerging financial risks.
Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or other related field from a recognized and approved program. Advanced training or degree in quantitative finance is preferred. You will have 15 years of experience in financial risk management, including at least 10 years in market risk management.

You must have a strong understanding of asset pricing and market risk analysis, including methodologies, terminology, and industry practices.
You will have advanced programming proficiency.
Experience working with large and complex data sets is a requirement.
Experience developing and documenting financial models for industry applications is also necessary.
Working knowledge of econometric techniques is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Develop and maintain risk analytics (e.g., value at risk and stress testing).
Develop ad hoc analysis needed for risk committee meetings.
Review Market Risk Models and identify any potential weaknesses in them.
Enhance current Market Risk Models and ensure models are performing optimally.
Support the ongoing improvement of all risk management reporting processes to improve execution speed, reporting efficiency and reduce risk of errors.
