GE Water & Process Technologies is currently searching for a sales professional to join the Service Deionization (SDI) Sales Team. The position will be based in the greater San Francisco, CA area.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Lead Sales Manager - San Francisco Area, you will:
  • Proactively drive the SDI product line and outsourcing solutions to the overall potential customer base
  • Execute a growth plan to open new doors to non-GE Water accounts
  • Account ownership of ongoing and supplemental business as well as renewals
  • Collaborate with fellow GE team members to develop and drive sales
  • Develop a comprehensive plan for the geography to maximize SDI and Mobile solutions
  • Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects, which will provide short, medium and long-term success
  • Accurately define client benefits, project scope, key deliverables and timing of new project or complex service opportunities
  • Provide routine and accurate opportunity and sales forecasts
  • Provide prompt and responsive service to sales clients in respective areas
  • Understand customer's needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the Engineering and Commercial Operations department to provide competitive solutions for our customers
  • Support company's new products launch campaigns and gather market information for company's new developments
  • Interface with Product Marketing and other disciplines to leverage their expertise to create value proposition for customer
  • Work seamlessly with Build Own Operate (BOO) / Mobile domain team to build strategy and tactics to maximize GE's mobile / outsourcing solutions
  • Foster a strong partnership with other GE Water commercial teams (e.g. CMS and Lifecycle Services) to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiatives.
  • Regular and frequent travel within the territory
  • Deliver results meeting goals on revenue and bookings, and fulfill other goals and objectives
  • Function in this role with a high order of integrity and compliance with the GE Spirit and Letter guidelines and Environmental Health & Safety guidelines



Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related science field from an accredited university or college ( OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, commercial operations, or field service in the water treatment industry)
