Role synopsis
Why: The China Performance Analyst supports the China Performance Manager with the Planning, Performance and Reporting activities which includes the timely and accurate reporting of the Rolling Forecast, monthly MI and annual Plan as well as monthly cash flow forecast for both auto and Industrial.

What: The Performance Analyst will be a key member of the China OU Performance team and will be an important contributor in supporting the consolidation of OU results and loading in SAP BPC (including supplementary, market space and channel data) during actuals, Plan and RF reporting cycles; as well as to support financial operations of China Industrial.

It is an excellent opportunity to develop functional skills, the ability to work with large diverse teams from various functions including sales/marketing, supply chain, improve connectivity with SPU PPM team and sharpen conversational/behavioural skills through opportunities to interact with senior managers/decision makers.

Key accountabilities
Monthly consolidation of OU results via JDE, BIGS and KL report and polishing raw data template for further analysis provided via senior performance analyst.
Monthly uploading and reconciling actual and GFO sales data onto SAP BPC system.
Monthly prepare the actual marine report.
Monthly support cash flow report.
• Obtaining OU results from SOT team and KL, reconcile with results from JDE system.
• Polishing raw data and preparing first-step reports under guides of senior performance analyst.
• Uploading actual and GFO sales data in the format of SAP BPC according to sales data reports provided by senior performance analyst.
• Support industrial performance analyst on the Rolling forecast process for ASP and functional cost - co-ordinate with Marketing, Strategy & functional team leaders to work out the latest picture for expenditure, analyse the actual spending and capital nature to get the full projection of Rolling forecast P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow, to ensure the Rolling Forecast integrity from Finance perspectives for China Industrial.
• Extract data from hosted systems and prepare the monthly actual reports to marine/Energy/Fuel answering queries from marine regional team regarding P/L, B/S items where necessary.
• Perform ad hoc business and financial analysis as required.

Essential Education
Degree in Accounting and/or Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g. ACCA /CIMA) - part or qualified

Essential experience and job requirements
Experience
• Extensive experience working within a multi-national desirable, with 5+ years working experience in Accounting, Performance & Reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills

Essentials
• Proficient in both written and spoken English/ Mandarin
• Confident in initiating clear communication
• Experience in BIGS (Business Intelligence Global Standards), JD Edwards and SAP BPC application would be added advantages
