Role synopsis
To implement the daily blending schedule with quality and safety. To execute all blending operational tasks to produce a batch in good specification.

Key accountabilities
1. To ensure daily operation in compliance with BP Group's HSSE polices and regulations during any blending operation at all the times, fully meet with BP/HSSE objectives and that ILS' target will be reached
2. To ensure blending operations to be in line with the production Operating Procedures.
3. Responsible to charge a batch coordinated by control room technician with DDU, flushing procedures, manual handling for quantities below 20kg, powders (big bags of 500kg and bags)
4. In charge of raw mats preparation, hot boxes, big bags, etc.
5. Implement batch correction when off specification in compliance with the related working instruction given by QC.
6. Make the correct operation when decanting and dosing (DDU) to ensure the accuracy of components.
7. Permanently implement 5S activity to build up a tidy environment to prevent any contamination.
8. Strong consciousness of team-work to deal with any task base on daily production.
9. Responsible to take sample from holding tank and bring to QC for quality inspection.
10. To coach and transfer the blending knowledge to all blending operator.
11. To report all operations onto the report sheet.
12. To seek opportunities and propose for continuous blending improvements.

Essential Education
High middle school degree in engineering or related disciplines, chemical preferred

College degree or above, chemical preferred

Essential experience and job requirements
 -More than 6 years of plant experience in production of similar process. -Other valued skills are computer familiarity and competency
 -Good communicator and team worker with the ability and willingness to work closely with others
 -Willingness to teach and share information with others
 -Willingness to learn and show initiatives for self improvements
 -. Basic English reading/writing.
Desired
 - Familiarity with tank farm working experience in chemcial industry
 - Logical thinking, well organized with problem solving ability
 - Be motivated as self starter
 - Effectively priorities work and handle multiple tasks at the same time
 - Works well under high pressure situations

• College degree or above, chemical preferred
• More than two years of plant experience in production of similar process.
• Knowledge and experience of batch blending process
• Good communicator and team worker with the ability and willingness
• Basic PC skills for Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
• Basic written communication skills in English.
