Senior AT/FP DCIP SME Job Description:

The Senior Antiterrorism Force Protection program (AT/FP), Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) Subject Matter Expert shall support operational integration, operational requirement identification, and focused training to operational users of emergent Antiterrorism/Force Protection capabilities and current Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) used to protect USSOCOM forces. Tasks include:

• Provide Government developed and approved AT/FP and DCIP training to the SOF Enterprise
• Provide specialized engineering support to Risk Assessments and Force Protection
• Security Engineering planning and cost analysis for projects or improvements designed to mitigate risk
• Provide Antiterrorism and security engineering analysis on the USSOCOM Enterprise's Military Construction (MILCON) projects
• Provide Vulnerability Assessment Protection Option (VAPO) development and analysis
• Perform hazard prediction and assessments
• Perform engineering structural response analysis
• Manage the Strategic Mission Assurance Data System (SMADS) and the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP)
• Conduct ForcePro risk assessments
• Provide Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) input

Minimum Education/Experience Requirement: Masters of Science in Engineering and least ten (10) years of progressive, relevant working experience in Risk Management programs (Antiterrorism/DCIP) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required skills include:
• Five years of experience in the DOD Security Engineering planning process, as defined in the DOD Unified Facility Criteria 04-020 series
• Five years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment Protection Option and Force Protection
• Ten years of experience as assigned to, attached, employed by, or contracted by USSOCOM or one of its subordinate organizations
• Ten years of experience preparing written products for senior leader (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level) use
• Five years of experience in conducting research and ensuring evolving strategic MISO missions and objectives are synchronized with overarching global MISO planning documents

Must be willing to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS non-hazardous locations.

Must possess an active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Clearance.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Work will be performed inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work. Travel is required to various CONUS and OCONUS non-hazardous locations based on client requirements.
Physical Requirements
Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Equipment and Machines
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
