ROLE SYNOPSIS

The Product Manager for Production Enhancement will support Baker Hughes existing and future technology and product developments, commercialization into the market, and be responsible for supporting and sustaining Geo market sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and convey the strategic approach for assigned technology and products
  • Manage introduction of new technology and products, maximizing gross margin by liaising between customers, engineering, suppliers, marketing, sales, and operations
  • Support the development for the training of personnel to sell and deliver assigned technologies and products
  • Foster a quality culture and common understanding of the expected quality of service
  • Support operations for service delivery ( ie local contract or tender advice, component validation, procedures, HSE considerations )
  • Track P&L for assigned technologies and products
  • Develop and maintain global market analysis for assigned market, documentation of existing and future customer needs.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Geoscience
  • 5 years of experience in Production Enhancement engineering or business development
  • Technical competence in Production Enhancement, especially enabling technology and services
  • Understanding of business plans, customer requirements and market demands
  • Experience building strong co-operative relationships internally as well as with clients
  • Understand the importance of maximizing gross margins and improving operational efficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to construct complex business cases with multiple scenarios.
  • Capable of dealing with external organizations on technical and contractual matters
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Understand the challenges of running a product line in remote locations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Fracturing, Acidizing, and Sand Control experience
  • International experience
