ROLE SYNOPSIS

  • Develop technical background on Baker Hughes products and services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the Houston area.
  • Assist with the development of short and long range sales goals.
  • Maintain and service key customer account
  • Engage, entertain, and communicate with plant personnel at customer facilities.
  • Handle special projects (internal and external), as assigned
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Learn Baker Hughes product and services technologies.
  • Manage existing Fuel Additive & Refinery Process chemical business at major account in the Houston area.
  • Work with Site Manager to Identify and close new sales growth opportunities.
  • Interfaces across the internal organization.
  • Builds strong relationships with key customers through value-selling and entertainment.
  • Develop technical background on Baker Hughes products and services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the Houston area.
  • Assist with the development of short and long range sales goals.
  • Maintain and service key customer accounts.
  • Engage, entertain, and communicate with plant personnel at customer facilities.
  • Handle special projects (internal and external), as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science.
  • 3 year industry experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid mechanical aptitude
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, Visio, Process Simulation software
  • Strong at building personal relationships (with internal and external customers).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 years of chemical treatment experience within a refinery or 2 years experience in a refinery engineering position
  • Expertise in negotiating skills
  • Excellent financial management skills and / or P&L management experience
