The Technical Support Specialists supports customers and the local Sales organization in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process.

Tasks:
- Offer technical advice and provide comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications
- Provide technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
- Perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
- Offer product/solution/service related training and maintains the training infrastructure.

Requirements:
- +5 years of experience in building construction and building control
- Degree in Engineering
- Well founded knowledge and expertise of KNX and its integration and installation
- At least 2 years experience in technical sales support
- Good understanding of the Swiss market and legislation
- Customer focused, results orientation and very good communication skills (in German C1, English B2, French)
- Experienced user of MS Office products and SAP
