Mission

Conduct continuous quality control inspections in port, according to internal policy and client specifications, ensuring integrity of functional and perceived quality of the product. Observation of loading in trucks and train.

Main Functions

  • Overall assurance of proper use of resources and efficiency of yard layout and process procedures
  • Enforcement of Gamesa safety procedures and industry best practices
  • Blade Fixtures - Inventory, Control, Serialization, Tracking, Maintenance, and Communication with Fabricators/Vendors . ( Including alternative blade storage materials)
  • Coordinate and report loading of blade trains and trucks for scheduled deliveries. Along with pre planning and preparations needed before trains and trucks before they arrive to ensure efficient activities
  • Issuance of BOLs and other transportation or customs documents to required parties or entities
  • General communications, audits, and inspections of blades, yards, processes, equipment, fixtures, vendors, and contractors which will be reported to various departments. (Safety, QC, SQA, Logistics, Customs, ect...)
  • Possible short term travel to Ports or Projects to support other Logistics activities if required. (mainly ports and projects in the region such as Texas and surrounding states)
