We are looking for a trainee (m/f) for a duration 6 months. He will help the Inspection and Monitoring team get a solid picture of what different inspections are taking place, the findings & repair outcome of those inspections. He will also assist us with merging our legacy robotic inspections capabilities, understanding which robot is applicable on which generator. He will assist the Predix Digital Team, tracking requests, quotes, orders and sales of Generator Health Monitoring Components.

Essential Responsibilities

Inspection analysis:
- Study past & current generator inspection reports extracting data from defined fields assisting the product line tracking inspection and maintenance trends.
- Assist the Product Line in determining inspection penetration and repair correlation
- Help define the fields which will allow us analyze the nature of inspection findings.

Robotic Inspections:
- Pull both legacy databases together and check for gaps
- With help from our different design databases, look for the manufacturing drawings and extract the relevant dimensions which allow checking feasibility.
- Populate the merged database and put it into a format which can be used by our sales teams.

Monitoring and Diagnostics:
- Compile information regarding installed monitoring systems from both legacy fleets.
- Support team in correlating monitoring results with plant and inspection events.
- Assist with identified projects as to data compilation and root cause diagnostics.
- Populate a new data base with existing monitoring test reports & results.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Ongoing Electrical or Mechanical engineering studies (Equivalent to Bachelors)
- Good command of English, French / German would be a plus
- Good understanding of technical documents
- Office applications with a special focus to Excel
