We are seeking individuals to support the expansion of our Geospatial expertise within the UK Geomatics business. We require an Assistant Land Surveyor to work with our Surveyors primarily in carrying out Topographic, Hydrographic, and 3D Laser Scanning surveys.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities associated with this post will include;

  • Liaising with members of the Geomatics team to enable work to be delivered to time, budget and quality
  • Communicate project related issues to the relevant Senior Utility Surveyor and Geomatics Project Manager
  • Assisting in the production of survey drawings and reports
  • Partaking in the production of Method Statements and Risk Assessments and Safe Plan of Actions

Essential Criteria

A minimum of GCSE grade A-C in Mathematics and English

A desire to develop your career by learning on the job, in a practical, outdoor, team environment.

Strong personal management and timekeeping skills

You will need to have a full UK driving licence as the role will involve travel to site locations

Enthusiasm and flexibility are required and you must be prepared to spend time on site away from the regional office

Desirable Skills

A/AS Level (or equivalent) qualifications in Mathematics and / or Geography

Relevant work experience in an outdoor, site based environment

Previous Land Surveying or Underground Utility Surveying experience
