The Global Supply Chain Financial Controller will be responsible for helping create a robust financial control environment for GE's Renewable Energy Onshore Wind $5 billion dollar global supply chain.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Global Supply Chain Controller, you will:
• Improve core controllership processes for Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) and create and refine new policies
• Ensure and help create a robust control environment for Onshore Wind's $5 billion dollar global supply chain
• Support sourcing and manufacturing teams on the correct accounting and controls for new commercial structures
• Lead SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) testing for supply chain
• Support ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and new systems implementations
• Conduct and coordinate global PP&E (Plant, Property & Equipment) physical inventory and impairment testing
• Drive B/S reviews for GSCM and coordinate with regions to ensure proper management reporting
• Partner with Onshore Wind's Global Controller and CFO on key business and supply chain priorities



Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of supply chain, finance or controllership experience

Desired Characteristics

• FMP (Financial Management Program) graduate / CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) graduate (GE employees only)
• Public accounting or Internal Audit experience
• Working knowledge or mastery US GAP (Government Affairs and Policy)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and across many stakeholders
• Ability to message / communicate effectively to many stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Highly organized with well developed problem-solving skills
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
• Process orientation and ability to continuously drive improvement
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
