Our client, a leading global solutions and services provider for photovoltaic and energy storage. Based on the international strategy, our client is now implementing a new subsidiary in South Africa- opening a position for Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling PV-solutions in both residential and primarily commercial consumer markets
  • Factual and specialist advice including telephone and written customer assistance with existing customers
  • Acquisition and development of new customers
  • Preparation and drawing up of offers using “PV Manager” software
  • Actively help with the existing customer loyalty process
  • Responsible for contractual negotiations as well as the conclusion of contracts
  • Responsible for reaching sales and profit target
  • Analyzing markets and competitors and derivation of sales promotions
  • Being able to present PV products and solutions to customers, at events as well as trade fairs

Key Requirements:

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial studies
  • Experience in both sales and providing technical advice
  • Knowledge in the field of renewable energy, ideally  solar energy
  • Customer and solution orientated way of thinking
  • High levels of motivation, commitment and team spirit
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good negotiating skills (English)
  • Willingness to travel
