Position Summary

We are wishing to recruit confident engineering graduates to join our established ITS design team, located within several of Jacobs key offices in the UK. As part of the design team you would assist in the preparation of feasibility studies and reports; preliminary and detailed designs for ITS related projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

You will become a member of an expanding team, taking a technical supporting role in delivering ITS design services throughout all stages of project development. You may be a recent graduate, or already have a little experience, but the role will provide you every opportunity to complete your training towards membership of a professional institution.

Although principally based at one of our key ITS offices , there may be a need to undertake site visits, attend progress meetings or visit other offices.

Essential Criteria

You will hold, or be working towards, an accredited MEng in Electrical / Electronic / Communications Engineering (or equivalent) and expecting a 2:2 as a minimum

Excellent analytical and technical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to produce well-presented and accurate drawings and reports.

Committed to work and capable of managing own tasks, costs and meeting deadlines.

Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.

Good IT skills.

Desirable Criteria

Proficient with use of power cable calculation software
