You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Do you have the skills and drive to work on a global and expanding market where you will manage orders and projects of varying scopes and sizes? If so, this could be your chance to great responsibility, influence and growth. We currently need to strengthen HVDC in Ludvika, where we develop next generations' HVDC power transmissions.

As Project Manager, Base Orders, you will manage our after-sales projects and orders - from planning to execution, as well as ensuring delivery on time and according to set standards. In close collaborations with our controllers you will follow-up costs and review suggestions, when needed. On a regular basis, you will also keep our Board of directors updated on the projects.

At the center of events, you will travel the globe and work closely with our local service centers, as well as clients and suppliers. In other words, you will be given great opportunities to broaden your global network within HVDC and build a sustainable platform for a prosperous career within ABB.

You hold a post-secondary education with specialization in Technology. Experience in project management, power distribution, power and switchgear, is also required. You also need solid knowledge of IS/IT and MS Office. Currently, you may work as a site manager, assembling leader, electrician, service maintenance technician or equivalent. Knowledge of SAP/R3 is advantageous. If you have experience from creating time plans and follow-ups, it is preferable. Extended knowledge of contracts, interpretations and negotiation technique, is also advantageous. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, whereas proficiency in additional languages is a plus. You also need a driver's license.
